Season 2 of Beach Bites with Katie Lee was filmed exclusively on location at some of the greatest beaches in, and around, the USA. Using the Sony F5 (w/Canon Cinema lens) I worked seamlessly with the Director, DP/A-Cam, and Story Producers capturing vital episode elements. Elements like B-Cam perspective during host interactions, breathtaking scenic broll, and 'Hands-and-Pans' food prep. I was also responsible for shooting food beauties and I occasionally served as back up Ronin Operator for Host reads and 'walk-in-talks'. (Ronin w/Sony A7s)

Working closely with the Director of Photography, we were able to transform the backstage of the 76th Peabody Awards into an intimate, formal, and full functioning documentary set. In addition, my camera position required that I operate 2 Canon C300 camreas simultaneously. Despite the challenges of working in this high stress/high stakes environment, I remained cool, fast, and professional. Ultimately, as a team, we were able to create a clean, classic look fit for the recipients of Journalism's most prestigious award.

Because of the distribution destination, I choose to shoot with a pair of Sony FS7 cameras with Master Prime lens and the new Canon 17-120 Cinema. As a result, I was able to bring some pretty big ideas to life in the digital space.

Using the Sony F-5, I created dynamic formal interviews and captured iconic b-roll at Arlington National Cemetery. For the first time ever, every headstone was honored with a memorial wreath laid by thousands of volunteers. The wreath laying ceremony was the focus of MSNBC’s holiday special, “Wreaths Across America: Taking the Hill”.

Using the Sony F55 (w/Fujinon & Arri Master Primes) my team and I documented Techno legend Kevin Saunderson’s visit to Ford Motor Company’s Michigan Assembly Plant. Despite limited resources and a skeleton crew, I was able to capture beautiful images that made for a very compelling story. The resulting Docu-feature was an incredible success for the client and the artist.
